Surnames of County Antrim – Dr Brian Turner | Newtownabbey Branch | Hybrid Meeting

Family historians quickly find far more surnames in their background than the one they are usually known by. The variety reflects our society. This talk attempts a family history for the whole of County Antrim, through the names of its people.
Dr Brian Turner was a founding director of Down County Museum and was Curator of Local History at the Ulster Museum. He completed his doctoral thesis on aspects of County Antrim history and has undertaken many further studies as well as writing a number of books based on his extensive research.
